  • Q. I put a tip and a red light comes out from the fiber end, but can not penetrate the carbon paper. (or paper)

    This is not a problem with the tip, but it can be a problem with the laser.
    Please contact your supplier.
  • Q. What happens ifthe fiber's yellow coating burns?

    The yellow coating disappears when used.This is only natural phenomenon and not related to the function ofthe fiber.
  • Q. If the optic fiber breaks by mistake, it is possible to use the remaining fiber?

    If the remaining fiber has sufficient in length, it can be reused.
    Please cleave off the broken part before use. (refer to the cleaving method at page 8)
  • Q. Does the fiber wear out as you use it?

    Optic fiber can break or wear off after repeated use.This is because the optic fiber uses quartz ingredient.
    Please cleave the fiber after a few uses, then you will be able to use again as new.
  • Q. Does the fiber break?

    As mentioned above,the fiber is made of glass (quartz) and it may break if you apply force.
  • Q. Is there a replacement period or cycle oftips?

    No there is not. Cleave offfiber end ifyou find any abnormality in output power.
  • Q. When fresh newTip( or newly cleavered Tip) is inserted, it does not work immediately?

    This is very common happening to the laser beginner, Do initiate theTip (referto page 1o, number4)
  • Q. Is it possible to use the same tip in contact or non-contact mode?

    The amount of energy delivered to the tissue during contact and non-contact is significantly different, and the tip used for contact is less effective when used without contact.
    Be sure to separate contact from non-contact tips. (refer to page 10)
  • Q. How do I sterilize tips?

    Use the same sterilization method used in the clinic.
  • Q. What should I do if the output power feels weak?

    Take out theTip and reinsert or replace with other tip or increase the power(2~3 steps).
    If the problem continues, please contact your supplier.
  • Q. When the power does not turn on?

    Check the battery and replace fully charged one.
  • Q. What should I do if the red light at the fiber end is not on after cleaving?

    Red light is only an indicator beam. It is unrelated to the function.The strength of the light can be adjusted in the function mode. However, if the beam would not turn on, please change theTip or call your supplier.
  • Q. It is bothering or inconvenient to change auto/manual mode or CW/CP1 /CP2 mode?

    There is quick button.You can simply switch to other mode by pressing left or right Button when in ready state( ready state : white led in front of the device is on)
